DBA 910: Analyzing Behavior in Organizations: Dissertation Guidelines

Working On Your Dissertation

For the most current guidelines on preparing your dissertation, check the Library page in the MYSAU Portal.  Keep in mind that these are just guidelines, and you should work closely with your dissertation committee for the final product.

To access the MYSAU Portal, click the above link, and log in with your SAU ID and password.

The dissertation guidelines are located in the "Documents" section in the middle of the screen.  Please refer to both "Guidelines for Preparing Dissertations" and "Guidelines for Publishing Dissertations".

The portal page will be updated with the most current documents so that if you don't work on your dissertation right away, you can still find the information you need.

If you cannot access the Portal, here are the dissertation guidelines:

Searching for Online Dissertations

You can search for online dissertations in the ProQuest Central "Dissertations & Theses at St. Ambrose University".

You can search by title, author, and even advisor for dissertations that have been written by SAU graduates.

Viewing Dissertations & Theses Published Before 2004

Sometimes it is helpful to look at dissertations and theses that have been written by other SAU graduates.  Dissertations and theses published before 2004 by SAU graduates can be found in the Library Archives on the third floor of the building.  Dissertations and theses are shelved alphabetically by author's name.  For assistance in locating one, contact the Archivist, Onnica Marquez, at 563-333-5868, or emailing her at marquezonnicaf@sau.edu.  You can also stop in for a visit between 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

The Library has books to assist you with writing your dissertation.  Try some of these, or ask for assistance at the Reference Desk:
