IL 101: Information Literacy is a general education course offered at SAU. The course teaches you a variety of information literacy, research, and information evaluation skills that are critical for your academic success. The course is typically taught by a librarian. Most students will have to complete IL 101 to graduate.
If you are a transfer student and/or have education credentials from another institution you might not need to take IL 101 (though you are, of course, welcome to do so if you'd like!). Please refer any questions about whether you need to take IL 101 to the St. Ambrose University Registrar.
