The PsycInfo Assignment

The class assignment sheet given to you by your particular professor lists any specific criteria the article must meet. Be alert!

Students will be asked to learn how to use the databases for psychology called PsychINFO and to find a empirical quantitative research article published between 2012-2017 from one of the a group of specified peer-reviewed Journals; which may include such as Journal of Abnormal Psychology; Journal of Abnormal and social Psychology, Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis; Journal of Counseling Psychology; Psi Chi Journal of Undergraduate Research; Law and Human Behavior, and so on (Students may be getting a list of approved journals to use by their particular Psyc professor).

Students will be asked to print/scan/save the journal article they find on a topic of their choice having used the above parameters presented in class, they will summarize the article and will write an article reference/citation in APA Format.

The Librarian is available for individual help as well, as needed.
